About Lydia Alexander

Dr. Lydia C. Alexander is a renowned medical professional, with certifications from the American Board of Obesity Medicine and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. As a medical chef, she combines her medical expertise with her passion for healthy cooking. Dr. Alexander earned her B.A. in International Relations and Spanish from Tufts University, with a minor in Political Science, and her M.D. from UC Davis School of Medicine. Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Alexander completed her residency training at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco, where she also served as Chief Resident. Her accolades include the 2018 Obesity Medicine Clinician of the Year Award and the 2019 Dr. Raymond E. Dietz Meritorious Service Award.
