Medicare may now cover GLP-1s for weight loss. The hard part is making them work.

Getting the prescription is the easy part. Most people quit within a year — derailed by side effects, plateaus, and dose changes no one helped them through. Enara is the local team that confirms your coverage and helps the medication actually work — so the weight comes off and stays off.

A prescription isn't a plan

Most people are told to “eat less and move more.” Others are handed a prescription and left to figure it out. Neither is enough. At Enara, your care team helps you choose the right treatment, manage side effects, protect your progress, and build habits that make results last — so the medication actually works for you.

Results that last — beyond the scale

It's the care, not just the drug — our members reach lasting results with or without a GLP-1.

15.3% Average weight loss (about 41 lbs), sustained at 18 months
70%+ Of our members keep off at least 10% of their weight
Nearly double the weight loss with our care team vs. a prescription alone

Across more than 2,400 Enara members, the average member lost 15.3% of their body weight — about 41 pounds — sustained at 18 months (Enara outcomes data, presented at the American College of Cardiology, 2026). Individual results vary. Members also saw lower blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol.

We treat the whole picture — not just the scale

Heart, kidney, liver, sleep apnea, diabetes, and mood. For type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, or fatty-liver disease, Medicare may cover a GLP-1 through your Part D plan — a different path than the Bridge. Enara’s physicians can get it approved and help improve that condition, not just your weight. The next step is a visit.

One simple monthly program — built to make GLP-1s last

At the pharmacy $50/month Your weight-management medication — normally hundreds of dollars a month — is a $50/month copay at the pharmacy through the Bridge.
To Enara $99/month The care that nearly doubles your results: visits, labs, and coaching.

No hidden fees. The $50 is your medication copay, paid at your pharmacy. The $99 is Enara's clinical program. That's it.

Does Medicare cover Wegovy, Zepbound, and Ozempic for weight loss?

Does Medicare cover Wegovy for weight loss?

Through the temporary Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, eligible Medicare Part D members can get Wegovy (semaglutide) for weight management at a $50/month copay, processed at the pharmacy. The program runs through December 2027.

Does Medicare cover Zepbound for weight loss?

The Zepbound KwikPen (tirzepatide) is covered for weight management under the Bridge for eligible members at the $50/month pharmacy copay. The single-dose Zepbound pen and vials are not covered.

Does Medicare cover Ozempic or Mounjaro for weight loss?

No. Ozempic and Mounjaro are diabetes medications and are handled through your regular Part D plan, not the Bridge. The Bridge covers Wegovy, Foundayo, and the Zepbound KwikPen for weight management.

How much does it cost?

The medication is a $50/month copay, processed at the pharmacy through the Bridge. Enara's clinical program — your visits, labs, and the nutrition and activity support the program requires — is a separate $99/month.

Is this a real Medicare program? Why is it so affordable?

Yes. The Medicare GLP-1 Bridge is a temporary federal program, running through December 2027, that lets eligible Part D members get certain weight-management medications for a $50/month copay.

Will the medication make me sick?

Some people feel nausea or stomach upset, especially when starting or increasing the dose. Managing that is exactly what our care team does — we adjust your dose and plan so side effects stay manageable and you can keep going. Most people who are supported through the first few weeks do well.

Can I keep my own doctor?

Yes. Enara works alongside your care — our clinicians confirm your eligibility and submit the required Medicare prior authorization for you. You don't have to switch doctors.

What happens after 2027 — do I lose my medication?

The Bridge is temporary and is scheduled to end on December 31, 2027. Enara helps you build a lasting plan and will guide you on your options as the program winds down.

Will this affect my other Medicare benefits?

No — the Bridge is separate from your regular Part D coverage, and it won't affect your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum.

How do I qualify?
