About Leslie
Dr. Leslie Sanchez-Goettler, MD, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She brings a uniquely well-rounded approach to patient care, supported by a Master's Degree in Religion from Yale University and a Master's Degree in Philosophy from Cambridge University. Dr. Sanchez-Goettler provides comprehensive, individualized care that includes tailored nutrition strategies, the use of FDA-approved weight loss medications when appropriate, and thoughtful guidance addressing the mental, emotional, and spiritual factors that influence long-term health.
She is also the founder of the Oregon Physician Women's Group, a thriving network of more than 2,000 members, which she led for five years while organizing hundreds of events focused on empowering and supporting women physicians.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Sanchez-Goettler enjoys dancing, hiking, and playing pickleball. She values spending quality time with her husband and their two daughters, and can often be found traveling the country watching her girls compete on national club volleyball teams.
