Grocery Spotlight: Starbucks Grilled Chicken & Cauliflower Tabbouleh

In a perfect world, we’d have all our weekday lunches prepped by Sunday night. And while that’s a fantastic goal, we recognize that life gets in the way. So, for this week’s Grocery Spotlight, we are featuring a great option that Starbucks now offers: the Grilled Chicken & Cauliflower Tabbouleh from their Mercato menu.

This is a solid option for a meal on the go, ringing in at 390 calories with 22 g protein (primarily from lean chicken meat) and 4 g fiber (thanks to lots of veggies!) to help with satiety between meals. VLCD patients, consider eating half (and having the other half all ready for lunch the next day).

Note that the sodium content is a little high and the dressing contains small amounts of added sugar, so this shouldn’t be an everyday go-to. That being said, if you’re a fan of Mediterranean flavors and short on time, try this out the next time you’re at Starbucks, and let us know what you think.
