Grocery Spotlight – Holiday Teas to Try This Season

A simple cup of warm tea may just satisfy that holiday flavor craving! Also, having a warm cup of tea may help keep your hunger at bay. Try having a warm cup of tea between or with your meals!

Here are some of our recommendations for holiday teas:

“Candy Cane Lane” is a decaffeinated green tea with seasonal flavors such as cool peppermint, creamy vanilla and a dash of cinnamon.

“Holiday Chai” is a spin on the classic chai. It is bold black tea with an exotic mix of spices, including nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, clove and cardamom. The brewed tea has a spicy-sweet gingerbread or eggnog aroma. We recommend adding a splash of milk or unsweetened vanilla almond milk to add some creaminess.

A Enara favorite available year-round, “Sweet & Spicy” offers sweet, little bursts of orange that mingle with spicy cinnamon and other flavors like lemongrass, peppermint, anise seed, and ginger. This tea can satisfy both your sweet and spicy palette. It can be enjoyed hot or cold.

What’s an alternative to your hot apple cider? Try this tea, a naturally-caffeine free blend that offers the sweetness and flavor of apples, and the spices of cider (cinnamon, cloves and ginger).

Not into spiced teas? Try a cranberry pomegranate tea. This hibiscus and rooibos blend is festive in both taste and color. The natural cranberry and pomegranate flavors give this tea a very cheery taste. Its sweet and tart flavor notes are very appealing!

This is just a small list of holiday tea flavors out there. We encourage you to explore your local grocery store to see what flavors you are interested in. Cheers and stay cozy during this winter season!
