Are you ready for another fun alternative to breads and tortillas? These egg white wraps are perfect for when you’re looking to balance or control your carbohydrate intake, and/or boost your protein intake in different ways!

These Original Egg White Wraps from Egglife are a must-try! Granted, they are not going to taste exactly like a wrap made with flour. However, for someone looking to decrease calories, boost protein, and decrease overall carbohydrate intake while enjoying the similar comforts of a wrap, this is a great swap!

Egg White Wraps: Ingredients & Nutrition

The first ingredient is egg whites (a high-quality protein) which indicates that egg whites are the main ingredient in this product. Other simple ingredients follow, including xanthan gum (which is usually created by fermentation of simple sugars and is used in small amounts as a food additive to help thicken or and stabilize foods), and salt. These wraps have 25-35 calories depending on the flavor. The original wrap has 25 calories, 0g fat, 0g carbs, and 5 grams protein! This could fit in a low calorie diet, a low carbohydrate diet plan, or in a regular balanced diet to boost protein intake. If you’re looking to avoid grains, gluten, dairy, sugar, and soy, this product will definitely work for you!

Again, while it may not be the exact texture of a typical flour tortilla, it does not taste gritty, grainy, or like cardboard, especially when warmed up.

Aside from the plain (Original) flavor, Egglife carries other varieties including Southwest Style, Italian Style, and Everything Bagel, containing different spices and herbs. Please note that the Sweet Cinnamon flavor does not work on VLCD as it contains monk fruit (a sweetener). Feel free to try the savory flavors, though!

You can find these Egglife Egg White Wraps at Target, Sprouts Farmers Markets, Whole Foods, online at Walmart, Amazon, or directly from Egglife Foods at www.egglifefoods.com.
