Rana Habboush completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Utah in 2020 and is a licensed PA-C in the state of California, having practiced for over two years in family medicine. An immigrant originally from Iraq, she formerly practiced medicine as a general physician after having earned her MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from the University of Baghdad in 2002. Rana has worked in many fields having explored a variety of options in medicine, and she firmly believes that maintaining a healthy body epitomizes the world of preventative medicine from a natural sense, thus leading to her decision to work in the field of obesity. Rana’s daring determination envelopes her every action whether it be her most recent adventure, skydiving 12,000 feet in the city of Queenstown, NZ, or working alongside patients who need the motivation and positivity to retake control of their health and wellbeing. A devoted believer in the doctrine that nothing is impossible, Rana always pushes forth with her patients sharing their battles with them and supporting them as their number one fan in their road to betterment in health.
