ROTM-april19

Dan and I began our journey with Enara in October 2018. After years of poor eating habits and not being aware of what types of food were going into our bodies, we decided to make a change. My brother and sister in law had joined Enara and were very successful and they were one of many inspirations to us in getting started on this life changing journey.

I was a girl with no self-esteem, trapped beneath baggy t-shirts, stretchy jeans and desperate to lose weight I wanted my identity back. I lost myself for 16 years. I had no Idea that it would turn into an amazing journey of self-discovery, freedom and finding joy. Today my husband Daniel and I have come a long way since starting the program in October.  My starting weight was 258 pounds and today I’m 183 pounds that’s 74 pounds down and counting. Daniel has been on the maintenance plan for 2 months now his starting weight was 357 pounds and today he is 254 pounds that’s a loss of 103 pounds. and he is maintaining and holding strong at that weight. He was pre-diabetic and his blood pressure was sky high. Today his lab levels are back to normal and blood pressure is normal. It has taken us years of wanting to do something about our weight. We never really thought about our health and what was going into our bodies. Enara has opened our eyes and minds and given us a new outlook on our health and well-being. We will continue our weight loss journey together thanks to Enara. We have the tools and knowledge to maintain our healthy lifestyle. This is work but it is achievable.

Sincerely,

Daniel & Cristina

Daniel and Cristina’s Weight Loss:

Cristina’s PBF:

  • PBF (Percent Body Fat) is the percentage of your body that is made up of fat. Everything else is usually referred to as “lean tissue.” This gives a more accurate representation of health, fitness and leanness.

Daniel’s Hemoglobin A1c:

  • Hemoglobin A1c measures the percentage of your blood hemoglobin that is coated with glucose (sugar). This test reflects your average blood sugar level for the past 2-3 months.
  • A level less than 5.7 is normal, and a level between 5.7 and 6.4 indicates pre-diabetes. A Hg A1c level of 6.5 percent or higher indicates Type 2 Diabetes.
