At Enara Health, we are proud to spotlight the amazing people behind our mission—those who bring passion, empathy, and expertise to everything they do. This month, we’re excited to introduce you to Dr. Roopal Lalaji, Director of Behavioral Health at Enara.
Tell us about yourself
I’ve been a practicing psychologist officially for 20 years, but I think it’s a role I’ve played for much longer—unofficially. From playground negotiator to family mediator, I’ve always been drawn to fostering awareness, understanding, communication, and compassion in the people around me. Becoming a psychologist was never just a career path for me—it was the path, and I pursued it with full conviction.
Outside of my work, I find joy in raising my two children with my husband, cherishing lifelong friendships, and nurturing creative outlets like jewelry design. I also love to travel—I’ve been to over 30 countries, and there’s still so much more of the world I want to explore!
What does Enara mean to you?
Enara is the answer.
For me, it represents the opportunity to provide the kind of care I’ve always envisioned—holistic, compassionate, and truly impactful. At Enara, I’m surrounded by a team that shares the same vision: delivering evidence-based, technology-driven, and empathetic care that is accessible to everyone.
I get to collaborate daily with passionate clinicians, an incredible support team, and a brilliant tech group that’s always improving the member experience. Most of all, I get to witness real transformation. Watching our members reclaim their health and confidence—one step at a time—is the most fulfilling part of what I do.
How are you helping members on their weight health journey?
As Director of Behavioral Health, my goal is to educate, empower, and support our members through every emotional and psychological step of their journey.
I develop asynchronous programming, lead single-session classes on impactful topics, and co-facilitate group series that build connection and shared learning among members. Our relationship with food is deeply personal, often shaped by emotional and social factors. I consider it a privilege to help members explore these areas, identify their strengths, and build sustainable strategies for change.
Whether it’s managing emotional eating, shifting mindset, or building resilience—behavioral health is the foundation that supports long-term success. I’m honored to be part of this work and deeply grateful for the trust our members place in me and the Enara program.
