Struggle to get enough protein at breakfast? Short on time in the morning? These Applegate turkey breakfast sausages are only 90 calories and 11 grams of protein per serving (3 links). You can pair these with oatmeal in order to up your protein intake and ensure a balanced, satiating breakfast.

These are also great pre-workout, if you don’t like working out on an empty stomach but don’t want to have a full meal. Late for work? Simply pop these in the microwave (on 50% power, don’t forget to read the cooking instructions) and they are ready in less than 2 minutes. We typically don’t recommend processed meats, however this brand is as close to all natural as you can get. They are minimally processed, without added nitrates or nitrites. Applegate makes a host of great frozen products such as turkey burgers and chicken tenders. They have other types of breakfast sausage such as chicken maple, chicken apple, chicken sage, and classic pork.
